SHAIN SHAPIRO
“THIS MUST BE THE PLACE”
Shain Shapiro‘s game-changing book about the economics of music cities has been recently published in Portugal. A roadmap to the future of music, This Must Be The Place introduces and examines music’s relationship to cities. Not the influence cities have on music, but the powerful impact music can have on how cities are developed, built, managed and governed.
An important message to all Portuguese cities where music plays a part of the ecosystem, as well as Portugal as a whole – music is an important part of the image, cultural tourism and economy of modern states and should be valued as a driver of prosperity.
